Dozen Betting Strategy for Roulette

Dozen Betting Strategy is quite simple. In an online casino, roulette is controlled by a random number generator (RNG), and in a land-based casino, roulette is subject to probability theory.

The essence of the Dozen betting strategy is as follows. The chances of winning a certain number in roulette are small, but dozens are constantly changing. Dozen in roulette is the bet on numbers from 1 to 12, numbers from 13 to 24 and numbers from 25 to 36, that is, on the first, second or third dozen. The payout for a dozen is 1:3, that is, 3 dollars for the winning bet of 1 dollar.

How to Play the Dozen Betting Strategy?

It is necessary to bet on a dozen that did not win at least 2 rounds in a row. For example, it is the second dozen (13-24). Place the initial bet $1 on the second dozen. If we lose, double the initial bet and place $2 on the same dozen. If we win, we get $3 because the payout for Dozen is 3:1.

If we lose the second bet, we increase the bet up to $3 that means $3 profit for winning.

If we lose the third bet, we increase the bet up to $6. If we lose again, then bet $12. In any case, the first win on the Dozen strategy will return all lost and bring profit. Therefore, with each loss, we double the previous bet.

Betting on Two Dozens

A bet on two selected Dozens increases the probability of winning but reduces the winnings because one of your bets will not win. The winning bet of the two of the selected Dozens will be considered as the Main one. The other bet will be considered as Secondary.

In the next round, we raise the winning by 20%, thus, if the initial bet was $5, we increase it up to $6. We reserve the Secondary bet for the time being $5, but then gradually increase for insurance of the Main bet.

If one of our bets wins, then in the next round we increase it by 20 percent. If all bets lose, then reduce by 20%.

The Secondary bet on Dozen is needed to cover losses from the losing Main bet. That is, part of the winnings from the Main bet, we are investing in the Secondary bet as insurance.

An Example

Initially, we place on the Main and Secondary Dozen for $5.

  1. The bet for the Main Dozen will increase as follows: $5, $6, $7, $10, $12, $15, $20.
  2. The bet for the Secondary Dozen will be as follows: $5, $5, $5, $5, $5, $6, $8, $10.
